Bishkek, Nov. 9, 2023. / Kabar/. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, as part of a working visit to the city of Hamburg in the Federal Republic of Germany, met with Managing Director of AKA-Bank Mark Venchik.
During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of establishing cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Germany in the banking sector.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers said that the establishment of interaction in the banking sector between the two countries will significantly contribute to increasing the volume of German exports to Kyrgyzstan. In particular, the funds raised can be directed to such areas as agriculture, green energy, and industry.
Managing Director of AKA-Bank Mark Venchik, in turn, expressed his readiness to develop financial cooperation with Kyrgyzstan.
The sides discussed the possibility of the German side financing a number of promising projects in the Kyrgyz Republic in the fields of renewable energy sources, logistics and the mining industry.
AKA Bank (Ausfuhrkredit-Gesellschaft mbH - Export Credit Corporation - abbreviated AKA) is is a specialized export finance bank that provides financing and credit lines to German exports.
The largest bank branches, large regional and state banks, as well as leading private banks in Germany united into a consortium and founded the Export Credit Corporation in Frankfurt -on-Maine, which was named AKA Bank.
