Head of Kyrgyz Cabinet Zhaparov leaves for Kazakhstan

Bishkek, Feb. 24, 2022 . / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov left for Kazakhstan for a working visit, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said Thursday.

During the visit, Zhaparov will take part in a regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC), which will be held on Feb. 24-25 in Nur-Sultan, and will hold a series of bilateral meetings.

This year, Kyrgyzstan is chairing the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission.

The EIGC meeting will consider the macroeconomic situation in the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union, the implementation of the Agreement on the mechanism of traceability of goods imported into the customs territory of the integration union and the Agreement on the use of navigation seals in the EAEU to track shipments.

In addition, the road map for expansion of industrial cooperation in the field of civil aviation in the Union for 2022-2023 will be discussed, a report on the current state and prospects of development of the integrated information system of the EAEU, and also a report on the assessment of instruments and level of state support for industry in the Union will be heard.

The meeting will also consider a joint project of member states to implement an accelerated containerized railway and multimodal transport of agricultural products "Eurasian Agroexpress" and a number of other issues.
