Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparovmet with heads of a number of companies working in the field of finance and mining on the margins of the "MAINEX - Eurasia 2023" international conference.
The meetings took place as part of Zhaparov's working trip to London (United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland)
Akylbek Zhaparov met with Head of the British company Rotschild and Co. Ariel de Rothschild, where a number of financial issues were discussed.
Further, a meeting was held with Marius Dan, the Executive Director of the Franklin and Templton Investment Fund, during which views on asset management were exchanged. According to the fund, the assets under management of this company amount to 1.3 trillion dollars.
In addition, Akylbek Zhaparov held talks with head of SRK Consulting Tim Larks on mining issues.
"Developing cooperation in the mining sector, we are always ready to involve not only domestic, but also all interested investors and business circles in this work. In this regard, we invite investors in the Kyrgyz Republic to cooperate in the mining sector, including on the principles of public-private partnership," he said.
Akylbek Zhaparov also participated in the round table on critical minerals.
"In order to ensure energy security, develop clean energy sources and combat climate change, the Kyrgyz Republic is interested in the development of mining," he said.
Another meeting was held with representatives of Renaissance Capital, where the issues of attracting investments of mutual interest were discussed.
