Bishkek, Oct.24, 2019. /Kabar/. On Oct. 14-20, 2019 Head of the National Bank of the Kyrgyzstan, Governor of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) for the Kyrgyz Republic Tolkunbek Abdygulov participated in the Annual Meetings of the Boards of Governors of the World Bank Group (WBG) and IMF in Washington, DC., USA.
Chairman Abdygulov took part in the Meetings as a member of the official delegation.
As part of the event, the Kyrgyz delegation held a number of important talks with the management of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank to discuss topical issues of the activity of the National Bank and global economic situation as a whole, the press service of the Bank reported.
National Bank Chairman Tolkunbek Abdygulov held meeting with new IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva, where issues of further cooperation between the IMF and Kyrgyzstan were touched upon.
