Head of Kyrgyzland Association asks government to help farmers in exporting agricultural products

Bishkek, Jan. 18, 2021 / Kabar /. Chairewoman of the Kyrgyzland Association of Exporters and Importers Lenara Niyazbekova, during a press conference at the Kabar Agency, appealed to the Kyrgyz government with a request to start work within the framework of the export development program for 2019-2022.

She said that the export of agricultural products is an indicator of the country's economic growth.

“As part of the implementation of this development program, farmers of the Kyrgyz Republic will have the opportunity to export goods to other countries systematically. Subsequently, these opportunities will make a great contribution to the budget of the republic and will assist in the creation of jobs,” she said.

In addition, the chairperson pointed out that the following measures should be taken to assist farmers:

- eradicate systematic smuggling activities;

- to legalize the activities of dealers;

- create conditions for healthy competition;

- solve problems with raw analytical reports, check forecast data;

- create conditions for the protection of export potential and exporters;

- creation of a state bank to support exports.

“Kyrgyzland Association asks the government of the Kyrgyz Republic to assist in solving the above problems, to assist farmers of the Kyrgyz Republic in exporting agricultural products and maintaining export potential," she explained.
