Bishkek, Oct. 8, 2021 / Kabar /. Director of the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyzpatent) Rahat Kerimbaeva met with Director General of the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) Darren Tang at the headquarters of the World Intellectual Property Organization in Geneva.
The press service of Kyrgyzpatent said that the meeting discussed issues of development of creative economy and innovations. The sides agreed to jointly implement projects in this direction.
Kerimbaeva spoke about the work of the agency to promote the development of intellectual and innovative activities. The head of Kyrgyzpatent invited the director general of WIPO to pay an official visit to Kyrgyzstan.
Darren Tang congratulated Rakhat Kerimbaeva on her appointment to the post of Director of Kyrgyzpatent and the opening of a new state innovation center based on the patent-technical library. He accepted the invitation and expressed a desire to visit the Kyrgyz Republic in 2022.
The meeting took place in the framework of the 62nd series of meetings of the WIPO Assemblies, which takes place from 4 to 8 October.
