Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2021 . / Kabar /. Director of the State Agency for Intellectual Property and Innovation under the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Rahat Kerimbaeva met with Resident Coordinator of the UN system in Kyrgyzstan Ozonnia Ojielo, Deputy Resident Representative of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) K.Suzuki, and representatives of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), International Labor Organization (ILO), UN Development Program (UNDP), the UN Fund for Population Activities (UNFPA) and the World Food Program (WFP).
During the meeting, Kerimbaeva told about the plans for the selection of innovative projects from the regions of the country "40 districts - 40 initiatives".
The main purpose of the selection is to stimulate and promote innovative projects in various areas of economic development, science and technology for the growth of socio-economic development of the regions of the Kyrgyz Republic. Also, the Director of the Kyrgyzpatent shared with the participants of the meeting the idea of opening new innovation centers in the regions.
The participants noted the importance of Kyrgyzpatent's work in the development of intellectual property and innovation in the country, and shared information on the implementation of projects in their areas.
Having exchanged views, the sides expressed interest in further cooperation, and expressed their willingness to conduct joint activities and strengthen cooperation with Kyrgyzpatent.
