Bishkek, Sept. 25, 2021. / Kabar /. Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan inspected the progress of repair work on the section of the Bishkek-Osh highway (south side of the Too-Ashuu Pass).
Asphalt concrete pavement is being laid on the road section. In case of favorable weather conditions, construction works will be completed in early October of the current year. KGS 165 million are provided for construction works from the republican budget.
Ulukbek Maripov noted the strategic importance of the international transport corridor, its impact on the social and economic development of the country, and instructed to complete the construction work in a timely and high-quality manner.
The head of the Cabinet of Ministers especially emphasized the need to ensure road safety on the highway.
