Kyrgyz Health Minister and Director of WHO / Europe discuss health issues in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 25 / Kabar /. On the margins of the 70th session of the World Health Assembly, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Talantbek Batyraliev met in Geneva with Director of the WHO Regional Office for Europe Zsuzsanna Jakab.

The press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that at the meeting the sides discussed the possibilities of introducing the electronic health system in the country, including the creation of databases on medicines and WHO projects in Kyrgyzstan.

They also touched upon the development of country strategic documents affecting health issues and reflecting the respective tasks of Agenda 2030, the prospects for the adoption and implementation of the law on tobacco smoking, the need for an intersectoral approach to road safety and its medical part.
