The population of the republic should stop any displacement without valid reasons, First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov said at the session of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus, the Government’s press service said on Monday.

According to the Health Ministry, 10 new cases of coronavirus infection were revealed by March 30.

All of them were detected in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast. To date, the total number of COVID-19 cases in Kyrgyzstan is 94.

Deputy PM Boronov underlined the state has enough forces to fully fight against coronavirus infection, but there is need to strictly observe all recommendations and limitations, discipline and order.

The Republican Headquarters called on citizens of Kyrgyzstan to social isolation and great responsibility for their relatives and friends.

"In areas where emergency and state of emergency regimes have been introduced, the population continues to move freely in the streets. This is one of the problematic issues that accompany the further spread of the infection.

Social isolation and domestic quarantine are now important. The situation of socially vulnerable segments of the population is also a problematic issue. For this category of citizens, social assistance will be provided and flour will be distributed. The Government has developed an anti-crisis plan. Medical workers will be provided with all necessary, additional payments, transport, permits, food, special suits and personal protective equipment. Medicines and a test system are available," Boronov said.

At the meeting the importance of ordering the activity of the capital's commandant's office and issuing permits was noted. Daytime patrolling in the capital has been strengthened. The measures of responsibility of citizens for the violation of the imposed restrictions in terms of observance of the domestic quarantine and other issues, related to the spread of coronavirus will be tightened.

The relevant state bodies have been instructed to limit the implementation of davat (religious missionary work ) by citizens.

All international flights, in particular from the Russian Federation, are cancelled this week.

The Operational Headquarters also stressed that the process of distribution of all funds received and being received on special accounts for the fight against coronavirus will be open and transparent.

The www.help.covid.kg online resource will display in real time the amount of funds received, to which activities they will be directed.

The site will also provide information on incoming humanitarian assistance, including food, goods, medicine and equipment.
