Heads of border regions of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan conduct joint inspection of villages on border

Bishkek, June 1, 2021. / Kabar /. Heads of Batken Oblast of Kyrgyzstan Abdikarim Alimbaev and Sughd region of Tajikistan, Rajobboy Akhmadzoda, held a meeting on May 31, the press service of the Batken regional administration said.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues of ensuring security at the border and the work being done in general.

The heads of the regions agreed to continue explanatory work among the population so that people do not have fear after the border conflict of April 28-30.

Abdikarim Alimbaev and Rajobboy Akhmadzoda jointly inspected villages on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border to resolve many issues on the ground.

Earlier the heads of Batken and Sughd Oblasts agreed to hold a meeting every week to promptly resolve emerging problems at the border.
