Heads of border services and governors of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan talk on border conflict

Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2019. / Kabar /. Negotiations are being held on the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, the Batken regional administration told Kabar Agency.

The talks are held at the level of the head of border agencies and governors.

Chairman of the State Border Service Ularbek Sharsheyev represent the Kyrgyz side and governor of Batken Oblast Akram Madumarov.

The conflict on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border is held on Sept. 16. The Tajik side fired at the Kyrgyz border posts in Batken Oblast.

As a result, the border guard of Kyrgyzstan was killed, 6 civilians and 6 military were injured.
