Heads of Chelyabinsk and Osh oblasts agree to build several enterprises in Kyrgyzstan

Osh, Apr. 1, 2019. /Kabar/. The leadership of Osh oblast had a meeting with Minister of Economic Development of Chelyabinsk Oblast Sergey Smolnikov on March 30.

During the meeting, the sides considered the issue of building a joint plant for production of building materials, construction of joint enterprises for processing fruits and vegetables. They also discussed issues of cooperation in exchange of experience of employees in the medical and electricity sectors.

During the meeting, the leadership of Osh oblast proposed to focus on cooperation directly, and not through private entrepreneurs or companies. It was proposed to make an interregional agreement on the export of domestic fruits and vegetables to Chelyabinsk Oblast.

Osh and Chelyabinsk oblasts have twin-city relations.
