Bishkek, Nov. 5, 2018. /Kabar/. Issues related to the assessment and analysis of the situation at the external borders of the Central Asian region will be discussed at a meeting of the Council of Commanders of the Border Troops (CCBT), which will be held in Bishkek on November 14.
The CCBT reported that the main attention of the Council members will be devoted to the consideration of issues related to the assessment and analysis of the situation at the external borders of the CIS member states of the Central Asian region.
Moreover, the participants of the meeting will summarize the activities of the CCBT in 2018 and determine priorities for 2019, discuss the results of joint special border operations and their organization for the next period.
At the same time, it is planned to make a decision on the transformation of one of the temporary working bodies - the Coordinating Scientific Council into the Coordinating Council on Science and Education, which will allow to bring its work to a new level.
Considering that the agenda of the upcoming meeting contains a set of items related to training and further development of veteran border movement in the Commonwealth space, representatives of the basic organization of the CIS member states in the field of training, professional retraining and advanced training of personnel in the border area are invited to attend – of the Border Academy of the Federal Security Service of Russia and the Coordination Council of the International Union of Public Associations of Veterans (retirees) of the Border Service.
In addition, issues related to rule-making and research activities will be considered, as well as a number of organizational and personnel decisions will be made.
The delegations of the border departments of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, the Russian Federation, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan will take part in the meeting.
