Heads of governments of EAEU countries highly appreciate chairmanship of Kyrgyzstan in Union

Bishkek, Aug. 26, 2022. / Kabar /. At the meeting of the heads of delegations of the EAEU member countries with President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov, held on August 25 in Cholpon-Ata, on the eve of the meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, the heads of government of the countries of the Eurasian "five" highly appreciated the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Eurasian Economic Union.

In particular, the heads of governments of the EAEU countries emphasized the effectiveness and relevance of the initiatives of the Kyrgyz Republic on the integration track and the measures implemented on their basis, worked out in the course of successfully held events within the framework of the integration association this year: the Eurasian Economic Forum and the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council (May 26, Bishkek), the Eurasian Business Dialogue, the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council and the Youth Forum (August 25-26). They expressed gratitude to the Kyrgyz side for organizing these events and emphasized the high interest in them from third countries.

The meeting was attended by Chairman of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Akylbek Zhaparov, Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Prime Minister of the Republic of Belarus Roman Golovchenko, Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov, Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin, as well as Prime Minister of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov as a guest of honor.

The Prime Minister of the Republic of Cuba, Manuel Marrero Cruz, in his video greeting during the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council, also joined in the positive feedback from his colleagues from the EAEU on the role of the Kyrgyz Republic as the Chairman of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council throughout this year, as well as on the remarkable work of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) at the head of with Chairman of the EEC Board Mikhail Myasnikovich, the press service of the EEC said.
