Heads of patent offices of Kyrgyzstan and Russia discuss further cooperation

Bishkek, Jan. 24, 2019. /Kabar/. From January 21 to January 24, 2019, the delegation of the State Service of Intellectual Property and Innovations under the Government of Kyrgyzstan (Kyrgyzpatent), headed by Chair Dinara Moldosheva, will hold a series of meetings and consultations on topical issues of cooperation and development of bilateral relations with the patent offices of the Russian Federation.

The press service of the Kyrgyzpatent reported that on January 21, a meeting took place between the Chair of the Kyrgyzpatent and head of the Federal Service for Intellectual Property of the Russian Federation (Rospatent) Grigory Ivliev.

At the meeting, further steps to develop bilateral partnership and the upcoming phases for the implementation of the Plan of Measures for cooperation between the Kyrgyzpatent and the Rospatent for the current year were discussed.

During the meeting, the Chairperson of Kyrgyzpatent noted that the key issue of 2019 will be digitalization of both the state services system of the Kyrgyz Republic, including in the field of intellectual property, and improving the quality of services provided to applicants in order to simplify access and the application procedure and interaction with the public. The creation of digital platforms and services will be implemented in accordance with the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the Country announced by the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Jeenbekov in order to further develop the regions and introduce new technologies into the daily life of the society.

The delegation of the Kyrgyzpatent met with the management and representatives of the Federal Institute of Industrial Property, to receive advice on electronic interagency cooperation and search systems databases of industrial property objects. They also held a working meeting at the Project Office of Federal Institute of Industrial Property, where they got acquainted in detail with the drafting of patent landscapes, the creation of which allows us to correctly navigate in the developments and innovative technical solutions.

Along with this, a meeting was held with representatives of the All-Russian Patent and Technical Library for the exchange of experience in digitizing the paper stock and microcarriers of the library.
