Heads of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan to meet on Aug. 4

Ashgabat will host the first summit of the heads of Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan on August 4, Orient reported.

An analytical article on Turkmenistan's cooperation with Tajikistan and Uzbekistan notes that Ashgabat has signed documents on strategic partnership with both countries, and this indicates a high level of interaction.

On the eve of the summit, it was reported that the parties are working on the preparation of new multilateral documents that the heads of neighboring states plan to sign. For this purpose, meetings of employees of diplomatic and other official departments of the three countries are held.

It is expected that the Ashgabat summit will become a new stage in deepening partnership relations between Turkmenistan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, and will also contribute to strengthening peace, stability and prosperity in Central Asia.
