Health facilities of Chui Oblast receive oxygen concentrators and pulse oximeters

Bishkek, Dec. 16, 2020. /Kabar/. Medical facilities of Chui Oblast received oxygen concentrators and pulse oximeters, the press service of the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations (SALSGIR) of Kyrgyzstan reported on Wednesday.

The agency received technical assistance from the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek in the form of 46 oxygen concentrators and 46 pulse oximeters for combating COVID-19 coronavirus infection.

"This medical equipment was provided by the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek at the request of SALSGIR in order to help stabilize the epidemiological situation, as well as to preserve the life and health of citizens. The equipment will be distributed to medical institutions in 23 multi-ethnic regions and town in Chui, Issyk-Kul, Osh, Dzhalal-Abad and Batken Oblasts,” the report said.

Today, the State Agency for Local Self-Government and Inter-Ethnic Relations handed over 14 oxygen concentrators and the same number of pulse oximeters for six multi-ethnic regions and Tokmok town of Chui Oblast.
