Bishkek, Apr.4, 2020./Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, unfortunately, cases of coronavirus infection have been registered among medical workers, Kasymbek Mambetov, the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Health Ministry said during a briefing at the Government House.
According to him, a total of 9 medical workers are carriers of the virus. Cases of medical workers infected with COVID-19 recorded in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast -7, in Bishkek-1 and in Osh-1.
Mambetov noted that there are 77 women, 67 men, including 13 children among those infected with novel coronavirus; 36 people are aged over 55.
As of Apr.4, Kyrgyzstan confirmed 144 cases of COVID-19.
14 more cases have been identified today.
The first coronavirus-related death in the republic was registered on Apr.2.
Six people have recovered and discharged from the hospital.
