Health ministry denies rumors about death of woman in observation

Bishkek, Apr. 2, 2020 / Kabar /. The information that a woman died in an observation in the village of Besh-Kungei in Chui oblast does not correspond to reality, the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

“In total, 31 people are in this observation, everything is fine with them, everything is under the supervision of doctors,” the Ministry of Health noted.

In total, 1 708 people are under observation in Kyrgyzstan.

To date 116 COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan. 54 citizens - in Jalal-Abad Oblast, 30 in Osh Oblast, 5 in Chuy Oblast, 3 in Batken, 4 in Naryn Oblast, 2 in Issyk-Kul Oblast, 8 in Bishkek and 10 in Osh cities. 63 women, 53 - men, including 11 children.

Five citizens were cured and discharged from hospitals.

A state of emergency is introduced since March 25 to April 15 in the cities of Bishkek, Osh and Jalal-Abad, Nookat, Kara-Suu regions of Osh oblast, as well as in Suzak region of Jalal-Abad oblast, a curfew is imposed from 20.00 p.m. till 7.00 a.m. in the above mentioned areas. A fine will be imposed for violation of the state of emergency.
