Bishkek, Aug. 13, 2020 / Kabar /. Seven ambulances were handed over to the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic under the auspices of the international organization NAMA.
According to the press service of the Ministry of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic, seven ambulances equipped with modern medical equipment were purchased by order. Two of them are equipped with portable ventilators, defibrillators, ECG machines and are adapted to resuscitation standards.
The ceremony was attended by Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Aida Ismailova, Minister of Health of the Kyrgyz Republic Sabirzhan Abdikarimov, President of the Assanabil Foundation Said Bayumi and others.
“For the implementation of today's project within the framework of the COVID-19 program, the ministry and the fund previously held negotiations and signed a Memorandum. The public charitable foundation "Assanabil" is known to the Kyrgyz people for its numerous charitable activities. Today, the Assanabil Public Charity Foundation under the auspices of the NAMA donated 7 ambulances to the Ministry of Health to support the government in the fight against coronavirus infection in the country. On behalf of the Kyrgyz people and the ministry, I would like to thank Said Bayumi and Muhammad Abdelkarim. I wish further continuation of close cooperation to improve the health of the population and develop the health care system,” said Minister of Health Sabirjan Abdikarimov.
Earlier, the Assanabil Public Charity Foundation, together with the Ala-Too Development Fund and the NICE Kyrgyzstan NAMA organization, within the framework of an organized program to counter COVID-19, donated 4 ventilators, 10 thousand medical masks, 2 thousand respirators and 100 thousand gloves to the health sector.
