Heavy rainfall in Issyk-Kul killed 1.5 thsd heads of livestock

Bishkek, July 18, 2022. /Kabar/. Due to heavy rainfall in Issyk-Kul Oblast of Kyrgyzstan, 1.5 thousand heads of livestock were killed, Minister of Emergency Situations Boobek Azhikeyev said during a press conference in Bishkek.

The minister added that heavy snowfall occurred on May 29-31 in Ak-Suu and Dzheti-Oguz regions of Issyk-Kul Oblast, which killed 256 heads of cattle, including 55 horses and 1 thousand 218 heads of small horned livestock.
