Bishkek, June 7, 2023. / Kabar /. On June 7, 2023, a ceremony to launch the construction of a herb dryer equipment storage was held in Maman village, Issyk-Kul region.
The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of the Republic of Korea to the Kyrgyz Republic Lee Won-Jae, representatives of the KOICA Office in the Kyrgyz Republic, Plenipotentiary Representative of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Issyk-Kul region Iliyaz Imanbetov and Director of the Department of Organic Agriculture Sagynbek Tursunaliev, KOICA Office in Kyrgyzstan reported.
The launch of the herb dryer equipment storage is one of the components of the Organic Agriculture Policy-Implementation Support and Capacity Building Project, funded by KOICA.
The herb dryer equipment storage under construction today is a facility that will increase the added value of various medicinal herbs produced by the Maman Organic cooperative. It will serve as a symbol of friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
Using the dryer storage, the Maman Organic cooperative and villagers will be able to produce excellent organic agricultural products, which is marked with the organic certification and becomes competitive agricultural products both domestically and abroad.
