Higher education issues between Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan discussed

Bishkek, March 12, 2021 . / Kabar /. Kyrgyz Ambassador to Pakistan Erik Beishembiyev met with Director of Pakistan’s Center for Global and Strategic Studies Khalid Taimur Akram.

According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of strengthening cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Pakistan in the field of higher education, organization of student exchanges, joint research and publications.

"As a result of the meeting, agreements were reached on the visit of the Kyrgyz ambassador to one of the oldest and largest universities of Pakistan - Punjab University in Lahore in the near future, opening of the Kyrgyz room, providing scholarships for Kyrgyz students in this educational institution," the report said.
