Bishkek, Oct.18, 2019. /Kabar/. Yesterday, on Oct. 17 Bishkek hosted discussion of the draft city program for overcoming HIV infection, the press service of the city Mayor’s Office reported.
Bishkek Deputy Mayor for Social Policy Tatyana Kuznetsova, Deputies of Bishkek City Council Askarbek Kuruchbekov, Almazbek Ulanov, Adisa Imangaziyeva, heads of district and city services, as well as citizens, activists took part in the discussion of the draft program.
The working group members presented an analysis and assessment of current trends in the development of HIV infection in the capital, analyzed in detail the existing problems, objectives and strategic directions of the program development.
The group includes Bishkek Council deputies, heads of social and health care structures of the capital's municipality, representatives of law enforcement agencies, independent experts and organizations.
This working group is established within the framework of the Paris Declaration to end AIDS, which Bishkek Mayor's Office joined on July 10, 2019.
