Hospital in Osh, where doctors infected with COVID-19, to be closed for disinfection

Bishkek, Apr. 8, 2020 / Kabar /. The building of the children's infectious diseases hospital in Osh city will be closed for disinfection, said Minister of Health Sabirzhan Abdikarimov.

He said that the doctors of this hospital came out with positive tests for coronavirus. “All of them were sent for observation, and relatives were taken under house quarantine. We’ll temporarily allocate the building of the Osh Interregional Hospital for infectious diseases until the end of disinfection,” the minister said.

Today, on April 8, another 42 new COVID-19 cases have been recorded in Kyrgyzstan, 13 of them are medical workers.

Thus, in total the number of COVID -19 patients is 270, 32 of them are medical workers.
