Deputy Minister of Health and Social Development of the Kyrgyz Republic Bakyt Dzhangaziev explained that since April 1, Kyrgyzstan has joined the COVID-19 Free Travel program, which currently operates on the territory of Russia, Belarus and Armenia.

From now on, in order to travel to one of these countries without reason, you must have this application, he said.

He clarified that as of April 20, two state and four private laboratories and 65 collection points for biomaterials of the country have connected to the platform,.

“The COVID-19 Free Travel App can be downloaded from the AppStore or IOS. Next, you need to go to one of the above laboratories, fill out the questionnaires and pass the PCR analysis. The citizen will be given a QR code that will be scanned at the airport. PCR test results can be obtained through this application. The test data will be available to all countries participating in the program,” Jangaziev explained and noted that laboratories issue PCR results on the same day.

One of the main advantages of the platform is that now citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic can take charter flights to these countries without reason.
