Bishkek, May 11, 2022 . /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz capital city of Bishkek hosted on Wednesday the Human Development Forum with the participation of members of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, representatives of the World Bank, government agencies, international organizations, and national and international experts.
In his welcoming speech, Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers-Head of the Presidential Administration Akylbek Zhaparov expressed gratitude to representatives of the World Bank for inviting leading world experts and leaders of global practices in social protection, health and education to the forum.
"The task of the forum is to draw the attention of international financial institutions, the public and, above all, our people to the fact that the government of Kyrgyzstan, headed by President Sadyr Zhaparov, is changing the benchmarks in attracting certain investments," he said.
The head of the Cabinet also welcomed the participants of the forum and wished them productive work.
"Our Cabinet welcomes opportunities to discuss with partners to develop priorities in the field of human capital. We are glad to hear and take into account the best international practices in the new National policy,” Zhaparov added.
The Bishkek Human Development Forum aims to create a policy platform for the country's leadership and development partners to identify priority transformative investments in human capital development.
Sessions on social protection, health care and education were held as part of the forum.
