Humanitarian aid from Uzbekistan arrives in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2024. /Kabar/. Humanitarian aid in the form of 1 thousand gas cylinders from Uzbekistan arrived in Kyrgyzstan.

According to the operational headquarters of the Kyrgyz Republic, 9 ISUZU cargo vehicles entered Jalal-Abad through the Bek-Abad road checkpoint.

Currently, the cargo is being shipped to the warehouse of the Jalal-Abad Electric Power Station, a branch of OJSC National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan, from where the cylinders will be sent to Bishkek, the report said.

Earlier, during a telephone conversation between the head of the foreign ministry of Kyrgyzstan, Jeenbek Kulubaev, and the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Uzbekistan, Bakhtiyor Saidov, the Uzbek side expressed readyness to provide the necessary assistance to Kyrgyzstan in connection with the accident at the Bishkek thermal power plant.
