Humanitarian medical organization from Mongolia arrives in Kyrgyzstan with charitable mission

Bishkek, Feb. 5, 2022. / Kabar /. The arrival of world-famous Mongolian doctors to Kyrgyzstan was organized at the initiative and support of Ambassador of Mongolia to the Kyrgyz Republic, Ganhuyaga Sodnom, the press service of Mongolia reported.

Doctor of medical sciences Boldsaykhan, the cardiac surgeon with 33 years of experience, the member of the AATS (American Association of Thoracic Surgery), president of the Association of Cardiologists and Byambasuren – doctor of medical sciences, chief pediatric cardiologist, consultant with 35 years of experience in pediatric cardiology.

The humanitarian medical organization "Beyond the limits" has been providing medical services for children with congenital heart defects for the second year. During their trips, representatives exchange experience and promote advanced minimally invasive methods of surgical treatment of the heart among young patients.

Mongolian doctors from the National Center for Organ Transplantation and Cardiovascular Surgery are in Kyrgyzstan from 2 to 7 February. During the trip, working meetings are held daily, new forms of interaction are discussed, practical assistance is provided to children from low-income families: examination and consultation of patients prepared by the Research Institute of Cardiac Surgery and Organ Transplantation of the Kyrgyz Republic. A joint operation of two children was also carried out in Bishkek. Two more children from Kyrgyzstan from remote areas will be operated free of charge at the clinic in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia. All costs will be borne by the Mongolian side.

According to the embassy, ​​on February 4 this year, the Mongolian Ambassador met with deputy ministers of health of the Kyrgyz Republic to discuss further cooperation, that this visit served as the first step in cooperation between the two countries.

“We are convinced that common efforts for the sake of the future of children and their health really have no boundaries and will help expand horizons, covering an increasing number of those who really need specialized medical care today,” said Dr. Boldsaykhan.

He expressed his gratitude for the support to Ambassador Ganhuyag Sodnom and the sponsors of this visit, DOS Community Service, Callpro KG LLC, Kyrgyztelecom OJSC and the administration of the Novotel hotel.

The ambassador of Mongolia to the Kyrgyz Republic noted that “This socially significant project is dedicated to the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between Kyrgyzstan and Mongolia. I am confident that the implementation of such projects will make a real contribution to the development of cooperation between the two countries, strengthening mutual ties and harmonious development.”

At present, the Humanitarian Medical Organization "Beyond the Limits" conducted a medical examination of about 11,000 children, 350 of which were successfully operated on. This work has gained particular relevance during the COVID-19 pandemic.
