Bishkek, Oct. 6, 2021 / Kabar /. Hungary’s Embassy in Kyrgyzstan will start issuing Schengen visas from October to citizens of Kyrgyzstan to Hungary and several other EU member states.
The press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported Tuesday that such an agreement was reached after a meeting of Kyrgyzstan-Hungary Strategic Council in Budapest.
Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Ruslan Kazakbaev and Hungary Peter Szijjártó agreed that the Hungarian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan will issue from October this year Schengen visas to citizens of Kyrgyzstan to Hungary and several other EU member states, which will greatly facilitate the process of obtaining visas for citizens of Kyrgyzstan, the report said.
The two ministers also discussed the increase of quotas for Kyrgyz students at Hungarian universities and the situation in Afghanistan.
