Bishkek, April 10 / Kabar /. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to the UK Gulnara Iskakova delivered a speech at the Silk Road Investment Forum in London with a presentation on the investment potential of the hydropower sector of economy of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The press service of the Foreign Ministry informs that during the forum the Ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic acquainted the participants of the forum with the perspective projects of the construction of hydroelectric power stations, including such large national hydropower projects as Kambarata HPP-1 and Upper Naryn cascade of HPPs, as well as small hydro power station projects in Kyrgyzstan.
The Ambassador also invited the participants of the forum to conduct a study tour to the energy sector of Kyrgyzstan in order to familiarize with possible investment projects in hydropower," the report said.
