Bishkek, Jan. 22, 2021 / Kabar /. “I am ready to be the first to test the COVID-19 vaccine on myself,” Acting Minister of Health Alymkadyr Beishenaliev told reporters at Kabar News Agency.
He said that the vaccination will take place on a voluntary basis.
“Without vaccination, we will not return to normal life. First of all, medical workers, teachers and vulnerable groups of the population will receive the vaccine. We will also involve private clinics to work, where vaccination will take place on a voluntary basis. In Russia and America, citizens are already being vaccinated. I am ready to be the first to test the vaccine on myself in order to convince of safety,” said the acting minister.
Beishenaliev also noted that there is an information war going on now. “The complications that are being voiced are not so much. The countries that produce the vaccine are praising their products. Kyrgyzstan should choose the most effective of all vaccines,” he added.
