Bishkek, Feb. 27, 2020 / Kabar/. Information on the loss of the hearing aid of a 9-year-old girl was spread on social networks and news websites at the end of 2019. The device was expensive and made according to individual parameters. The sad thing is that a hearing aid was never found.
This case has a backstory and its continuation.
Due to complications from the flu, little Albina and Ali hearing ability began to loss. Due to state support, in 2016 they (kids) underwent a treatment in Turkey, where they have installed two auditory implants. This operational trip was organized and funded by “AYU Holding”.
At the beginning of this winter, Albina lost an implant in a bus. Despite the all attempts of the citizens, the device was never found. By that time, the implant of little Ali began to fail.
The father of Albina and Ali, being in a difficult life situation, for the second time applied to the management of “AYU Holding”. A huge amount of money required, which was impossible for his family. The company has decided to help this time too - to buy a new device for Albina and pay for the repair and reconfiguration of Ali's device.
After that, a long hard restoring process of hearing devices has begun.
It is notable that auditory implants produced in one company, and their customization according to the characteristics of the patient - in another. The setup procedure is extremely thorough, complex and requires the personal presence of the patient. That means, a mother with two children needs to go to Turkey again.
The implants were made by the world famous company “Sivantos” and “Advanced Bionics” had to set up the speech processor. By a fortunate coincidence, Advanced Bionics saved all the data of little patients, which allowed making the remote configuration. With the exception of minor difficulties associated with the peculiarities of the financial workflow between the two countries, the whole process was very well going.
The transport logistic company “Biek-Cargo”, through which it was planned to transfer a valuable parcel, heard about its purpose, immediately offered to deliver the goods completely free of charge.
For children two months without auditory implants were extremely difficult to live.
On the day of arrival of the parcel, from early morning, the children with a big and true joy were waiting for their vital assistants devices.
