Bishkek, April 27, 2024. / Kabar/. The Islamic Development Bank (IDB) will allocate $79 million to Kyrgyzstan under the project “Financing Affordable Housing According to Sharia Standards.” The signing ceremony of the agreement took place during a meeting between First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev and IDB President Muhammad Sulaiman Al-Jassir.
In his speech, the deputy head of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic noted that thanks to the implementation of this project, thousands of needy families will receive social housing through the mortgage lending system.
“Providing the population with affordable housing is a priority of state policy and is under the control of the head of state,” he said.
The First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Adylbek Kasymaliev arrived in Riyadh (Kingdom of Saudi Arabia) on a working visit.
During the visit, Adylbek Kasymaliev will take part in the annual meeting of the managers of the IDB group, and also hold a number of bilateral meetings with the management of financial institutions and international companies.
