IDB will develop strategy for cooperation with Kyrgyzstan for 3 years

Bishkek, May 4 / Kabar /. In Jeddah, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA), Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to KSA Abdilatif Zhumabayev met with Vice President of the Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Mansur Mukhtar, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

During the meeting, the sides discussed preparations for Kyrgyz delegation’s visit led by First Deputy Prime Minister Muhametkaly Abulgaziev at the Annual Meeting of the IDB Group on May 14-18, 2017 in Jiddah, KSA, and the development of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the IDB.

The Kyrgyz Ambassador informed about the readiness of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic to receive in 2017, President of IDB Bandar M.H. Khajar within the framework of the Third Roundtable with the participation of members of the Arab Coordination Group, on July 11-12, 2017 in Bishkek.

The sides expressed confidence that the visit of the President will serve as an impetus for further strengthening of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the IDB and will create a basis for deepening bilateral cooperation.

IDB Vice President said that the Development Strategy between IDB and Kyrgyzstan will be developed for 3 years in order to mobilize new financial resources for the Kyrgyz Republic and that the IDB team of experts intends to visit Bishkek next month to consult with the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic.
