Identification of cattle successfully passed in Kyrgyzstan- State Veterinary Inspection

Bishkek, May 16, 2019. /Kabar/. 1 million 700 thousand cattle were identified in Kyrgyzstan, Director of the State Inspectorate for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Security of the Kyrgyz Republic Kalysbek Zhumakanov told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.

According to his words, these data are in the Unified Register, which is tied to the Tunduk interdepartmental digital system. “Identification is a continuous process. At the moment, the identification of big cattle is completed, now work has begun on the identification of small cattle and other animals,” Zhumakanov said.

“We have ensured that diseases, transmitted from animals to humans, such as brucellosis, echinococcosis, etc., decrease among the population this year,” the head of the State Veterinary Inspection said.

He also said that the Eurasian Economic Union countries recognized the service of their department as compliant with the rules. “This means that our product control will be recognized in all the countries of the EAEU,” Zhumakanov explained.
