Bishkek, Oct. 4, 2020 / Kabar /. If the situation with the COVID-19 begins to deteriorate, then the question of strengthening quarantine standards will arise, Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov told reporters.
He said that the epidemiological situation has really worsened over the past 10 days, and this is not only in Kyrgyzstan.
“We see what is happening all over the world. In Germany, France, Italy, India, new cases of COVID-19 are on the rise. If you look at our statistics, the same thing happens. More than 200 new cases of COVID-19 have been registered to date. Compared to yesterday's data, these figures are high. The statistics of new cases of coronavirus disease have been growing in recent days. We, within the limits of our ability, will try not to introduce quarantine and not torment people with this. We will try to get out of the situation on the existing conditions. If the situation begins to deteriorate further, then, perhaps, the question of strengthening quarantine standards will arise. And I hope that the population will understand everything correctly,” Boronov said.
