Bishkek, Dec. 5, 2018. /Kabar/. Events dedicated to the memory of great Kyrgyz writer Chyngyz Aitmatov will be held in Moscow and Beijing just before his birthday, well-known TV presenter and public figure Assol Moldokmatova told in more detail at a press conference at the Kabar News Agency.
She, as it became known, will be involved in the upcoming events in Russia and China.
“In a few hours I am leaving for Moscow, where Aitmatov’s evening will be held at the Rossiyskaya Gazeta. I will recite ‘Plach po Chingizu’ (Russian: Плачь по Чингизу, lit.: Cry for Chingiz) by Professor Alexander Katsev, where I brought an opera singer Almaz Istambayev. Four days later, in Beijing, we are going to present the play ‘Jamilya’", she shared her plans.
She said that Former President of Kyrgyzstan Roza Otunbayeva is also going to take part in the events. Both events include an extensive cultural program. So, they will become the 209th international platform initiated by Moldokmatova on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of Chyngyz Aitmatov in the world.
