Import of gasoline to Kyrgyzstan decreases by 2.5 times

Bishkek, April 17, 2023. / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan has received 55 million 777.7 thousand liters of motor gasoline in the first two months of this year. This is 2.5 times less than in January-February 2022. Such data are given in the bulletins of the National Statistical Committee of Kyrgyzstan on foreign and mutual trade.

The total cost of imported fuel amounted to 1 billion 624 million 790.3 thousand soms. At what price it was purchased, it is not specified - the cost varies from brand and imported country. On average, based on the given data, the selling price is 29.1 soms. This is 10.5 soms lower than in the same period last year. Then the average purchase price of gasoline was 39.6 soms.

The main volume of fuel in January-February was imported from Russia (93.1%). Another 6.8% came from Kazakhstan and 0.1% from Belarus.
