Bishkek, June 25, 2020. /Kabar/. The Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus Infection in Kyrgyzstan will consider on Thursday imposing a state of emergency in Bishkek, Deputy Health Minister Madamin Karatayev said.
He noted the epidemiological situation in the Kyrgyz capital and Chui Oblast remains difficult.
Karatyev stressed that the issue should be considered taking into account all factors.
Kyrgyzstan on Thursday confirmed 228 new COVID-19 cases, raising the total number to 3,954, 648 of them are cases of medical workers' contamination.
Number of recoveries has reached 2,112, they all have cured and discharged from hospitals, including 396 medics.
43 people have died.
