Bishkek, Aug. 25, 2020. /Kabar/. The epidemiological situation in Osh city is improving, Deputy Mayor of the city Asylbek Topchubayev said Aug. 25 during a briefing.
According to him, due to the improvement of the epidemiological situation in the southern capital, all daytime inpatient centers are closed down, and only 33 people are receiving treatment from COVID-19 and community-acquired pneumonia in the city hospital.
"In total, about 3 thousand 300 cases of coronavirus and community-acquired pneumonia have been registered in the Osh city,” the official added.
"Nowadays, there is increasing incidents when people hold festive events, funerals and memorials contrary to bans. To date, fines amounting to KGS 998,000 have been issued in Osh for failure to comply with sanitary standards," Topchubayev said.
