He said that in 2017 it is planned to receive 1 million tons of sugar beet. "And if the sugar factory Koshoy will be put into operation, we will be able to fully provide our country with sugar," Murashev said.

The minister also said that the last year sugar beet harvest in the republic amounted to 704 thousand tons 602 tons per hectare.

He said that the total area of ​​sugar beet crop in the current year will amount to 15 thousand hectares. Compared to last year it increased to 3.5 hectares.
