In 2020, Kumtor allocated KGS 781 mln for Issyk-Kul Oblast's development

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2021. / Kabar /. Last year, Kumtor Gold Company CJSC allocated KGS 781 million for the development of Issyk-Kul Oblast, Kabar Agency has learnt from the press service of Issyk-Kul Region Development Fund.

By the end of the year, KGS 590.7 million, or 82% of funds were used.

The funds were distributed as follows:

- Education - KGS 95.2 million;

- Health - KGS 70.3 million;

- Coronavirus pandemic and emergencies - KGS 22.5 million;

-Culture - KGS 15.2 million;

- Sports - KGS 45.7 million;

- Roads, water supply and infrastructure - KGS 122.7 million;

- Other sectors (strengthening the material and technical base of state and municipal bodies, repair of administrative buildings) - KGS 72.3 million;

- Own investments in various projects - KGS 50.9 million;

- Budget forming projects - KGS 95, 9 million;

The budget of the Issyk-Kul Region Development Fund is formed at the expense of 1% of the gross income of Kumtor Gold Company CJSC.
