“Chronicles of Turkmenistan” continue to monitor price fluctuations for medications.
In the last quarter of 2020 the pace of a price hike for medications slowed down. From June to September 2020 prices for pharmaceuticals went up by 16% on average whereas in the past three months the increase of only 2% was recorded.
Overall, in 2020 medications saw a price increase of 30%.
Correspondents of “Chronicles of Turkmenistan” report that queues for medications, including for masks and sanitizers, have disappeared.
