In 2022, special attention is paid to the issues of import substitution, the heads of state spoke a lot about this yesterday at the Eurasian Economic Forum, official representative of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Iya Malkina told during the press conference at Kabar News Agency.
She said that in this sense, the commission has strengthened its work.
“A map of the industrialization of our Union has been created, which contains about 180 projects with a total value of over USD 300 billion and an agricultural industry map that includes 170 projects with a total value of USD 16 billion. These are directly those databases for possible import substitution projects within the Union. This is important not only for states, but also for businesses in order to take into account the accumulated production potential for the formation of long cooperation chains,” Malkina said.
