Bishkek, Jan.29, 2020. /Kabar/. In January 2020, the Guarantee Fund OJSC approved 81 guarantees for a total of KGS 10.6 million, the press service of the Fund reported.
Under this amount, partner banks of the Fund approved loans to entrepreneurs in the total amount of KGS 20.9 million.
As an example, entrepreneurs from Naryn region of Naryn Oblast, Alai region of Osh Oblast, Kadamjay region of Batken Oblast requested loans for purchase of dairy cattle.
Many of them needed the loan to replenish their working capital. Among them enterprises from Aravan region (Osh Oblast), Alai region (Osh Oblast), Uzgen town and capital city of Bishkek.
Also, in January 2020, another entrepreneur from Osh Oblast received guarantee to obtain a loan for the purchase of non-residential premises.
"In total, from the beginning of its activity till Jan. 28, 2020, the Guarantee Fund OJSC has issued 1 thousand 683 guarantees for a total amount of KGS 1million 686 thousand. Under these guarantees, the partner banks approved loans in the amount of KGS 5 billion 678 million,” the report says.
The Guarantee Fund OJSC is aimed at providing access to financing for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in case of insufficient collateral throughout the Kyrgyz Republic.
