In Kyrgyzstan, amount of tax collections in 2021 totalled over KGS 18B

Bishkek, Sept. 29, 2021. / Kabar / . In Kyrgyzstan, the amount of tax collections for 2021 amounted to KGS 18 billion 141 million 100 thousand, Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service Adilet Dubanayev said during the Kyrgyz Information Technology Forum (KIT) on Wednesday.

According to him, the growth of tax collection was about 40%.

"Thus, if 20-25% of the growth is due to the unstable currency market, the remaining 20-15% is the result of the digitalization," the deputy head of the Tax Service added.

Dubanayev also pointed out that Smart Salym combines all areas of digitalization implemented in the tax sphere through the fiscalization of tax procedures.

"Implementation of the fiscalization project allows to optimize the service of the State Tax Service, to qualitatively protect the interests of taxpayers, to provide access to modern digital capabilities in accordance with global trends," he explained.

"Electronic base is currently running in a pilot mode in Bishkek and Osh. We hope that the introduction of this system will have a positive impact on tax administration, increase state budget revenues, reduce the level of shadow economy, improve analytical work and allow quick entry of data on the objects and business entities," the deputy chairman of the State Tax Service said.
