Bishkek, Jan. 20, 2022 . / Kabar /. This year, the irrigation season will start early in all regions of Kyrgyzstan, Minister of Agriculture of the country Askarbek Dzhanybekov said during a briefing on Thursday.
He noted that experts are already calculating from which sources and on which on-farm and inter-farm canals water can be supplied now.
"If precipitation is also low, we will have to soak the bottom of the canal first of all. In addition, there is almost no snow on our fields, so we must carry out this work wherever moisture irrigation is needed,” the agriculture minister said.
Dzhanybekov stressed that such a task was set to all representatives of local authorities.
