Bishkek, Dec. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. In the first six months of 2020, the number of enterprises created in Kyrgyzstan decreased by 36% compared to 2019, Executive Director of the International Business Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Askar Sydykov said at a press conference at Kabar News Agency.
According to him, in the first six months of 2020 there were more liquidated companies than created ones, which directly affects the employment of the population.
Sydykov noted the state has not included in the anti-crisis plan business proposals. In particular, tax exemptions for industries affected by the pandemic.
"It is important not to collect high taxes and give them in the form of soft loans. Tax incentives were not applied, only deferrals on payments were given. The main mechanism of anti-crisis measures was reduced to concessional financing. The amount was big, but it wasn't enough," he said.
According to Sydykov, the main problems businesses face today are pressure from inspectors, frequent inspections, border problems and political instability.
